LOREBOOK KICKSTARTER
So here we are, that’s our sample, just a taste. We’ve got it all down, now we need to put it out there. We need to organize, and I need to bring my team together for the final production. I want to pay them what they’re worth, and believe me, it’ll be worth it. My job was to build the skeleton of the world and the templates of its inhabitants, but you’ve only seen some of what we can do to fill it. One piece at a time, so we’re starting with the lutrai.
We’re looking for artists and musicians to fill our ranks, and we’ve got a few already. We’re looking for backers because we’re ready to play. We need real people, not bots, not generative AI, just people who feel this wavelength and want to join it. The bones are sound, we need the flesh, so if you’re interested in joining us, come to our Discord. We draw, we game, we tell stories, and we’re always interested in more. People: You've had a sample of the characters we're making, I guess you'd call them NPCs, but they're our cast, and it's got room to grow. I've added a heap of lutrai characters already, but that's just because we're focused on this lorebook first. We got wolves, we got bats, we got dinosaurs and rabbits and space cats. And we need more, so if you've seen the look and you want to be a lutrai, we've got a ritual for that too. A few of our backers are going to end up in here wondering how they turned into otters. Lucky for them, we have the answer. They're more people.
Culture: Pages of details on the lutrai culture, history, rituals, games, and ceremonies, with illustrations. The writing is all done, we're illustrating them now. I'm doing the templates and we've got other artists to help expand them with additional scenes. Items: You know I love drawing strange objects and re-imagining magic items, so you're going to get a heap of those too, along with architecture, floor plans, and other material regarding material.
